I have been working with Matt for the last six months; one hour lessons, once a week. We started lessons a few weeks before COVID hit.  I had two, maybe three, in person lessons, and everything else has been over zoom meetings.   I am in awe of the improvements in my voice in such a short amount of time, considering my lessons have been online.

Matt's weekly assessment, and developmental plan has drastically changed my voice.   He has chosen songs that are enjoyable to sing, yet challenge my range, and build technique based on the elements and skills we are working on that week/month.  

Word of warning, most of the songs have been in foreign languages, which I did ask for.  He has allowed me to choose a few songs along the way (with specific criteria, of course).

If you are looking for a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and structured teacher.  Look no further.  Matt is supportive, but will totally give you "the look" when he knows you can do better.  He will also call you out when you give yourself the eye roll because you know you could have done something better.  He will encourage you, and push at the same time.   

I can't wait to see what the future has in store.
